A file node in Canvas enables you to upload and incorporate document content directly into your AI workspace. When you create a file node and upload your document, it processes the file's contents, making the information available for AI analysis.
Using File Nodes
To interact with document content through the AI system, follow this sequential process:
- Click on the file icon in the node selection menu
- Upload your document file when prompted
- Create a new chat node on your canvas
- Connect the file node to the chat node by drawing a link between them
By connecting a file node to a chat node, you can engage in conversations about the document's content, ask questions, generate summaries, extract insights, or request explanations without having to manually copy text from your files.
